Next time you're out shopping and are thinking about buying a reusable bag because everyone seems to have one and you know paper and plastic are bad, why not think about re-using your old paper or plastic bags? You should be able to get just as many uses out of them as you would a reusable tote before you tire of it's design.

Remember, with many environmental fads, what may seem appealing on the surface really looks ugly underneath. Question its validity and do some research. Moreover, think. Sometimes, there's no need to "purchase" a solution. There are many things you can do already, and if everybody just does a little bit, it can go a long way.

Join the Anti-Design For Sustainability movement. Put a condom on excessive consumerism and there won't be a need to produce so many cradles.
